About Us

With over 35 years in the residential construction business as a owner/builder, general contractor, and small business owner, Diane Vessels started California Energy Consultants in 2008 to help architects, designers, builders, and homeowners comply with the California Energy Standards. Diane's professional experience includes working as a licensed contractor, CalCERTS Certified HERS Rater, a Program Manager for Build It Green's PG&E Energy Upgrade California Program, teaching residential construction to students and volunteers and as a Construction Manager for Habitat for Humanity.    

Education:

Bachelor of Arts, Management and Organizational Development, Fresno Pacific University, Fresno, California

Masters in Organizational Behavior, California School of Professional Psychology, Fresno, California

California Energy Consultants works with architects, designers, contractors, and homeowners who are designing, building or remodeling homes in California.  All homes in California are required to submit a "Title 24" energy analysis report to the building department with all residential building permit applications.
